Five important things to note when feed puppies, hit the blackboard
feed puppies scientifically is very important, especially for newbies who have just joined the ranks of dog owners. What precautions should be taken when raising dogs? The editor has put together the following points, hoping to be helpful to fellow scrappers.
1. Diet
When feed puppies, you should pay attention to these 4 things in their diet and do not give them to them.
(1) Chocolate: This type of food is fatal to dogs. It contains theobromine. If consumed, it will reduce blood flow in the dog’s brain and damage their heart and central nervous system.
(2) Onions: Containing n-propyl disulfide, which will destroy the hemoglobin in the dog’s body and change its own structure. Dogs will vomit and urinate blood after eating it.
(3) Grapes: Dogs will suffer from vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, dehydration and loss of appetite after eating grapes. Some dogs will suffer from kidney failure.
(4) Chicken bones and broken bones: Do not give chicken bones to dogs after eating chicken, and do not give broken bones. These can easily pierce the dog's throat and cut the esophagus and intestines.
2. Vaccine
Be sure to vaccinate your dog, don’t take chances. Dogs may be infected with various viruses, and vaccination is to better prevent viruses. This can not only improve the dog's resistance and immunity, but also be responsible for others.
3. Take a bath
It should be noted that dogs that have just arrived at a new home and have just been vaccinated cannot be bathed as they are young, as the dog will get sick easily. Do not mix dog shower gel with human shower gel. Use a special, mild shower gel. It is not advisable to bathe the dog frequently. It can be adjusted according to the season, the environment in which the dog lives, etc. Generally, when the weather is cold, it is once every two weeks or a month, and when the weather is hot, it is enough. The dog must be dried after bathing. Do not let it air dry naturally. The dog will get sick easily.
4. Deworming
Dogs are humans’ closest companions. Regular deworming of dogs can make our lives healthier. Deworming is roughly divided into two types: internal and external. The time of deworming should not coincide with the time of vaccination. Do not bathe the dog within seven days after deworming. Also, it is best not to go to bushes, grass, quagmire and other places when walking your dog, as these are prone to parasites.
5. Train your dog from an early age
It is recommended to start training the dog from an early age, and train the dog to eat at a fixed time, at a fixed point, and in a quantitative manner. No matter how busy the owner is, the feeding time cannot be changed at will, and the feeding amount cannot be more or less; the owner should train the dog to defecate at fixed points to avoid the trouble of random defecation. If the dog obeys the command, immediately reward it with food, petting and soft praise.
